Hello, I'm Courtney Booker. My passion for cooking began at a young age in my Grandmothers' Irene & Hattie's kitchens, taking on the role of a sous chef. At just six I was captivated by PBS cooking shows, even watching them with closed captions to learn about dishes from chefs in countries I hadn't even heard of. The diverse recipes they created amazed me, fueling my dream of one day owning my own cooking business. Now, here we are with Hummingbird Bistro, specializing in nostalgic southern cuisine and more. This journey is just the beginning. Join me as I expand my business to include food trucks, a brick and mortar location, and hopefully, being featured on a TV network someday.
